    Your role as a People Services Specialist will ensure the effective management of HR administrative functions, timely payroll processing and maintenance of HR information and providing basic HR support and advice.

     

    This is a great opportunity for a someone looking to utilise their payroll skills and understand facets of HR support.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as 2IC for payroll manager
    • Complete weekly recruitment payroll for contractors and liaise with Recruitment Manager with any related queries.
    • Liaise with finance team as appropriate regarding payroll costing for new colleagues and assist with month end reconciliations and reporting,
    • Assist in reviewing and maintain the payroll system to ensure data is quality and accurate and updated based on input from the customer in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Handle basic to moderate queries, referring to the People Business Partner where appropriate
    • Assist managers in the development and implementation of training and development for staff
    • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in payroll processing
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and all levels
    • Superior administration and organisational skills
    • Experience in implementing company policies and procedures
    • High degree of written, oral communication, and organisational skills
    • High degree of confidentiality
    • Excellent time management skills

    This is a 1 year contract based in our Chatswood office.
