  • Overview

    Sage has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Specialist for Sage University, a central role in learning services, to perform the day-to-day tasks supporting different aspects of services operations like order to cash, administration, and operational support.  This role works closely with the Senior Operations Specialist and regional stakeholders to develop and maintain in-region processes for workflows (recording, reporting and reconciling financial and non-financial transactions) that align to the regional business and system environment and adhere to global standards and best practices. Sets up and maintains configurations in the supporting systems that support Services programs, promotions, and certifications. Provides training and backend system support to regional learning services advisors. Provides timely reporting of regional KPIs and develops region-specific custom reports and dashboards. The Operations Specialist also assists UX and Technology teams with routing helpdesk requests, functional requirements for users, creating deep links, and other tasks as required.


    • Manages back office functions for Services Support Systems. These can include assigning incoming requests for service, order flow, adjustments, and reporting
    • Trains regional administrative teams on approved processes for existing and new service offerings for maximum administrative efficiency and data integrity
    • Creates key metrics reports for monthly, quarterly, year end and adhoc reports for stakeholders
    • Configures systems to meet LS program goals
    • Designs custom reports as needed
    • Works closely with Sr. Services Operations Specialist to develop and maintain processes for the timely reconciliation of revenue, sales tax reporting, and order to cash activities
    • Implements and reports on promotional campaigns
    • Provides administrative support to specialized training programs on the LMS
    • Develops, refines and documents processes for the administration of training offerings


    • Associate degree or equivalent business experience required
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience back end systems and functions associated with services
    • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial reporting practices
    • Detail oriented
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
    • Intermediate to advanced reporting (Excel) and PowerPoint skills
    • Technical aptitude; must be able to adapt to new technology
    • Preferred:
    •  Experience with order to cash processes
    • Experience using CRM and ERP systems
    • Experience in learning services operations
