    About the role


    As a trusted advisor to Sage prospects and customers, your role will support the Sage People sales team in translating business objectives into enticing and actionable recommendations. We are building the best presales team in the industry and are looking for people from a diverse variety of backgrounds. Your role will focus on developing a compelling solution and delivering thought leadership to companies to transform the way they manage their biggest asset, their people.




    • Maximise sales revenue by working closely with BDMs to identify and understand the unique business requirements of customers within multiple industry verticals and translating those needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for prospects and customers.
    • Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, including solution concepts to key decision makers to address their business issues and needs
    • Work closely with sales to deliver product, technical, and security related responses on RFPs/RFIs ensuring unique Sage business value is clearly articulated in all customer engagements
    • Demonstrate exceptional understanding of the Sage Business Cloud platform, specifically native Salesforce solutions to position accordingly internally and externally
    • Maintain continued learning across all technical enhancements and proactively display initiative in further self-development
    • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key internal stakeholders across Sage internationally and in Australia
    • Strive to continuously improve pre-sales processes, tools and collateral and be an innovator within Sage creating new solutions and possibilities using out-of-the-box thinking.




    • Proven experience within technical sales, architecting and/or designing complex business solutions with customers
    • Track record in solution engineering, consultancy or delivery role for a cloud software vendor 
    • Ambitious, self-motivated and agile professional with a good knowledge of solution positioning, business justification, and closing techniques
    • Results oriented, deadline driven and highly organised with the ability to work on multiple opportunities concurrently
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work multiple stakeholders at different levels in different geographic locations


    • Salesforce Certification (ADM201) and/or completed Trailhead badges
    • Familiarity and technical experience with Salesforce platform technology
    • Familiarity and technical experience with Human Capital Management software
    • Superior presentation and demonstration skills.
    • Experience in multi-product solution selling, in the mid-market/enterprise space
