  • Overview

    Your role as a Payroll Implmentation Consultant is to deliver high quality consulting services that meet client requirements and support effective ongoing client relationships. Furthermore, your role is also designed to maintain effective communications with clients in line with the Client Management strategies of Sage and maximize revenue opportunities.


    • Successfully Implement payroll solution applications using implementation models within pre-determined budgets and timelines, and analysing client business requirements for optimal configuration of systems and databases
    • Ensure that customers experience exceptional service levels by proactively reporting on progress and issues, and liaising with other internal departments to solve problems and provide seamless support
    • Confirm successful implementation and data migration by completing best practise UAT techniques, and transition the client to Help Desk
    • Delivery of high quality onsite and remote consulting services in line with Sage best practice standards that meet client requirements and support ongoing client relationships within advised timeline
    • Review and follow up allocated Help Desk/Training and General enquiries from clients to ensure client receives resolution within required timeframes and maximise revenue opportunities,

    • Achievement of individual utilisation and team consulting targets.
    • Maintain regular client communication and support client management strategies
    • Achieve and maintain the required level of skills and competencies to perform the role, including product knowledge
    • Active promotion of the software solutions and services offered by Sage.
    • Other duties as required from time to time.


    • Software Implementation Experience
    • Experience working with Payroll, awards, agreements and Fairwork payroll standards related software
    • Results orientated, deadline driven and highly organised
    • Advanced communication skills to ensure positive outcomes relating to client concerns at a senior level;
    • Ability to perceive and assess client Payroll and Human Resources software and support requirements


    • Experience working with Sage Payroll products (Wage easy or Micropay will be highly regarded)
