Your role will ensure effective management of HR administrative functions, timely payroll processing and maintenance of HR information and providing basic HR support and advice. This role is based in our Chatswood reporting to our Payroll Manager APAC.


  • Handle basic to moderate queries, referring to the People Business Partner where appropriate
  • Act as 2IC for payroll manager
  • Complete weekly recruitment payroll for contractors and liaising with customer finance team as appropriate and assist with month end reconciliations and reporting
  • Assist in reviewing and maintain the payroll system to ensure data is quality and accurate and updated based on input from the customer in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Generate standard employment contracts and letters of offer and distribute resulting documentation
  • Coordinate WHS committee, implement and manage WHS for company nationally
  • Assist managers in the development and implementation of training and development for staff
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Facilitate and assist managers with recruitment procedures and employment procedures, including reference checking
  • Undertake and analyse exit interviews for departing staff


  • Proven experience in payroll processing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and all levels
  • Superior administration and organisational skills
  • Experience in implementing company policies and procedures
  • High degree of written, oral communication, and organisational skills
  • High degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience with recruitment and selection
