Overview

We are searching for an innovative, tech-savvy Internal Communications Business Partner to support key members of Sage’s Executive Committee, specifically our Chief Product Development Officer and Chief Technology Officer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and executing communications in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, as well as experience as a strategic partner who can advise the CPDO and CTO on and execute integrated communications programming to help build upon Sage’s unique culture, amplify its iconic technology brand, and attract and retain the best talent.

 

As part of the central Internal Communications function, this role will drive best practice and employee engagement across the organisation with strong aligned messaging and activities to embed the Sage Values, Vision, Brand and Strategy. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Executive Committee, as well as colleagues at all levels. Strong stakeholder management experience is essential, as is first-class project management. A collaborative, positive mind-set, excellent writing skills and sound experience in change management are also highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the CPDO and CTO as their senior comms advisor and business partner.
  • Advise on the right channels, timing, audiences, and content of communications to ensure colleagues are informed, inspired and empowered to meet company and department goals.
  • Collaborates across the organization with multiple stakeholders to shape and deliver employee communications tactics.
  • Ability to capture the authentic voice of leaders in written and verbal communications, and partner with them to bring to life their vision, strategy and priorities.
  • Strategic counsel to drive change management in a complex, fast paced organization.
  • Produce original, innovative communications content that connects people to Sage.
  • Drive and promote consistency, while inspiring a global network of internal communications leads with best practices.
  • Delivery and project managing of communications events, such as All Hands meetings and kick-offs, in close collaboration with in country teams and processes to ensure information cascade from global to regions and countries.
  • Contribute to the development of a world class comms function.

Qualifications

  • Experience in internal communications.
  • Tech savvy – solid understanding of emerging technologies and the kinds of colleagues who work in these teams.
  • Intellectually curious, able to think on your feet, creative, continuously reinvent and raise the bar
