Senior Group Performance Reporting Analyst
Based in our London Bridge office the Group Performance Reporting Analyst role sits within the Group Performance Reporting team. The GPR team have a global remit and oversight of the entire business. The PR team and its data are central to helping Sage make better decisions, create competitive advantage and successfully deliver its strategy. All performance reporting detail runs through the PR Team, the work and reports they produce are the ‘one source of the truth’ across the business globally, helping to guide and inform decision making and direction at a Group level. The team work with Sage functions and employees globally and as part of the team you will have the opportunity to visit other Sage sites liaise internationally with colleagues.
Operating from such a key vantage point in the business you will be responsible for producing and preparing internal management and performance reports for the Group ensuring that reports are materially accurate, produced to a deadline and comply with Sage’s policies and best practice for FTSE 100 companies and add value and insight working collaboratively with the business. These reports are reviewed directly by our EVP population, our CFO and CEO and attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Prepare accurate, insightful and timely monthly performance reporting of financial and non-financial data to be published to the Board and Executive Management team
Consolidation of forecast P&L submissions, precise financial analysis of key trends and provide business insight for reporting output
Year-end and interim results consolidation processes
Deliver a performance reporting framework to enable a faster close process including accurate and comparable data; continuous improvement of data insight by driving efficiencies through streamlining of data, system process improvements as well as the manual reporting process
Drive monthly reporting accuracy and high-quality commentaries to support Management Reporting
Prepare ad hoc Group performance and regional reporting requests with focus on delivering insights and value add
Establish effective professional working relationships across the business

Delivery of timely and accurate high quality management information according to reporting timetables
Ad hoc requests are provided in less than 24 hours
Set of insightful operational reports and information produced to deadline

Skills, know-how and experience:
Good educational background with accounting qualification 2+ years post qualified
Outstanding problem-solving skills.
Strong planning and project management skills. Focused on delivery of objectives.
A passionate, energetic individual with high drive and ambition.
Commercial & can demonstrate great business understanding, analytical and with a real eye for detail. Enjoys working in a hands-on environment and has a genuine interest in understanding the issues behind the numbers.
Strong intellect and excellent influencing skills. Confident in opinions and able to communicate them in a convincing manner
Knowledge of HFM is beneficial
Technical / professional qualifications:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountancy qualification
