Our Procurement Apprenticeship

This role will be a supporting role within Procurement to give our apprentice full visibility of our function to help them develop some fundamental skills, knowledge and experience not just within Procurement but the wider organisation to help them build a successful future. To carry out a range of duties for and on behalf of the Procurement team in order to support source to contract management.

  • Be responsible, with support, for tenders for low value, low risk commodities.
  • Understand main Procurement interactions with the business and identify any issues and/or opportunities to improve through data or customer feedback
  • Carry out a range of day to day administrative duties to support the successful running of Procurement.
  • Expedite deliveries as requested by buyers.
  • Maintain up to date information within the contract management tool.
  • Take incoming calls from internal customers in relation to purchasing queries demonstrating extraordinary customer service at all times.
  • Building and maintaining excellent professional relationships both internally and externally with suppliers. This includes building relationships with colleagues in our international offices.
  • Dealing with highly sensitive correspondence in a confidential manner.
  • Handling on-going and ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects as required.Our Apprentice Framework
