The Sage Leadership Team has embarked upon a comprehensive transformation program to establish an operating model which leverages the value of Sage globally.  This is a new global role with responsibility for marketing to, with and through partners both globally and locally in the accountant market segment.


This person should be able to understand and communicate the cloud value proposition and economic model for accounting and bookkeeping practices. They will work very closely with the Director of Accountant Partners and the Regional and Local Partner Marketing teams to build a marketing strategy and tactical plan to recruit, engage and go to market with Accountants



  • Develop a strategic partner recruitment strategy to build relationships that drives accountant customer awareness, acquisition and customer referrals.
  • Execute end-to-end campaigns and activities that deliver value to Sage, our accountants and our customers.


  • Development and execution of marketing strategy and tactics that will support the accountants ‘sell to’ targets and ‘sell through’ (referral) opportunities.
  • Delivering on opportunities that drive accountant awareness, engagement, acquisition and referrals.
  • Develop and implement a scalable marketing approach to localize and implement marketing campaigns through Accountant Partners
  • Development of the Sage Partner Program for Accountants – content, assets for Accountant Partners on the Community Portal


  • Experienced in Partner marketing in a high tech multinational company
  • Ideally with a good understanding of the Accountants environment
  • Ability to engage with and lead teams in a complex and changing environment
  • Significant experience and understanding of the dynamics and operations of indirect channels
  • Proven record of creating and delivering successful marketing programmes in the field
