Through our Apprenticeship Programme we’re looking for the next generation of business builders, passionate about delivering outstanding customer experience the world over, whilst benefiting from excellent work experience with a FTSE 100 company.


At the start of your apprenticeship with us, you’ll get involved in some exciting team building activities. You’ll learn about our range of products, and will find out about what it’s like to run your own business. You’ll be part of a working group to generate new ideas to build your confidence. You’ll also spend time with your qualification assessor, so you know what is expected. From around month 3, you’ll be out on the bustling sales floor listening in to calls. Once you feel confident enough, you’ll start to make your first calls to customers whilst doing some light data cleanse activity. To help you to understand Sage customers, you’ll go to a customer visit to find out more about how their use our software and any challenges they face. Using your insight and knowledge, you’ll start to generate some customer leads and will feed these into the sales teams to make the sale happen. At this point you’ll be given support and training to help you to close your own sales. All of your activity will happen in conjunction with your coursework, so you feel 100% ready for a sales role.
