It’s one of 2 worldwide Customer Business Centres and is focused on producing quality cloud solutions for the European, and now emerging markets, with particular emphasis on SageLive, our cloud based accountancy software which is built on the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

About the Role

 

As an Account Executive working on the South African market, you will work closely with the Business Development team to maximise every customer lead. Your primary focus is to convert these opportunities into sales by promoting and demonstrating the benefits of SageLive and ensuring every customer has the best technology tailored to their business. Ultimately, you’ll make sure no stone is left unturned, which will include:

  • Forecasting and managing your own campaigns effectively;
  • Establishing sales strategies with the Business Development Reps;
  • Developing extensive product knowledge and applying this to secure business;
  • Generating revenue through direct sales of Sage Live to SMEs;

You will need to be a fantastic communicator, a natural sales person, ambitious, driven and incredibly motivated. You’ll have the confidence to open doors, the determination to close the right deals and the appetite to take some innovative Cloud software products to a market of entrepreneurs and growing businesses.

Qualifications

You will have:

  • Extensive experience of selling SaaS, application or cloud based solutions direct to the customer;
  • Proven experience in building and sustaining customer relationships;
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals;
  • Experience of working with emerging markets
