Overview

Focus on new customer acquisition for Sage Live solution in order to achieve sales performance metrics and KPIs. Manages end to end sales cycle and delivers the operational plan activities to achieve the new business revenue goal through Sage Live business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual revenue performance in line with budgetary expectations and performance metrics
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasting for monthly, quarterly and annual performance to the Sales Manager, including risk and opportunity analysis, by ensuring sales pipeline is effectively and proactively managed  
  • Work closely with Sage Live business partners on live deals and pipeline generation as well as specific campaign execution
  • Conduct initial discovery and high level demonstrations to prospects on the Sage Live solution
  • Ensure that prospects experience exceptional service levels across discovery, pre-sales and deal close
  • Generate new business referrals by proactively promoting Sage Live to potential customers and maintaining a strong understanding of ISV solutions
  • Maximise sales conversion ratios in line with business expectations by generating new business referrals and effectively managing sales pipeline
  • Support Sales Manager to deliver initiatives outlined in annual operating plan
  • Maintains accurate deal stage management in Salesforce CRM
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with ecosystem BDMs across Sage products

Qualifications

Must have:

  • Demonstrated successful track record winning and closing new business
  • Previous experience selling SaaS solutions in the SMB space
  • Previous experience working with a complex, fast-paced technology vendor
  • Positive, results orientated and highly organised
  • Self-motivated driven to succeed
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Highly autonomous with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to confidently and clearly articulate complex business solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders under pressure and at different levels
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience of complex/technical product and/or solution sales

Preferred:

  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform/ecosystem
  • Experience working with business/implementation partners
  • Working knowledge of accounting/financial solutions
