The Category Campaign Manager – Accounting is responsible for the effective planning, development and delivery of scalable marketing campaigns that will help increase net new customers for Accounting (Sage One) across multiple markets worldwide.

  • Develop the campaign strategy for Accounting (Sage One) in close collaboration with key regional stakeholders to align to revenue and strategic goals
  • Design end-to-end campaigns in conjunction with supporting marketing functions including content, social, PR, SEO and media, as well as maintain alignment with sales, marketing operations, web management, information systems, and finance
  • Manage and adhere to allocated budget
  • Measure, analyze and report on campaign KPIs
  • Align to the needs of regional marketing teams at a global level without creating conflicts with other regional initiatives
  • Manage key stakeholders across multiple regions to ensure delivery of master assets, including upward management, agencies and peers and other internal stakeholders
  • Outstanding project management to ensure the delivery of all master assets for localisation
  • Agency management, ensuring cost and time effective delivery of excellence.
  • Work with marketing operations to ensure tracking is in place to monitor and report on campaign performance  
  • Delivering high adoption rates of the category campaign and partnering with regional teams to ensure fast and effective implementation and is complementary to regional growth campaigns.


  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in B2B demand generation and also brand management.
  • Understating of complex, multi-channel, international campaigns and the vision to go beyond the brief.
  • Proven capability to develop stand-out campaign creative which delivers results
  • Ability to get multiple stakeholders to buy into a vision and strategy for the campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of business impact metrics and how to impact marketing metrics across the funnel.
  • Exceptional project and agency management.
  • Upward management to gain acceptance for plans and budgets.
  • Multi-touch, multi-dimensional marketing program design, creation and implementation with an understanding of digital and social activities.
  • Significant experience in B2B, subscription and preferably also B2C direct-response marketing.
  • Strong international experience and multi-cultural understanding.
  • Ability to gain a strong understanding of key audiences.
  • Manage resources across regions and across countries.
  • Understand how to use social media and nurturing journeys in demand creation, and direct content required for demand creation.
