Overview

Responsible for helping to shape, implement and execute the paid search strategy for Sage solutions globally, the role is pivotal in positioning Sage as a thought leader and to drive demand for our portfolio of products.

 

As Regional Paid Search Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

 

  • Helping to develop and execute the global paid search strategy for Sage solutions and markets, aligned to our One Sage approach. Covering in-depth market and competitor analysis alongside channel best practice in conjunction with internal stakeholders, external media agency teams and external media partners.
  • Executing against a global framework to deliver and support highly targeted campaigns tailored to specific country markets and products for Sage solutions.
  • Working closely with peers in media, creative, localisation and SEO teams to ensure delivery of seamless, integrated campaigns.
  • Providing support for local market teams, from the dissemination of relevant market information to strategic direction to campaign level tactical support.
  • Building and maintaining a strong working relationship with the global media agency and being the key relationship holder for particular Sage solution campaigns and markets.
  • Leading global paid search activity for Sage solutions and overseeing optimisation across specific campaigns within markets.
  • Assisting in the construction of an accurate measurement and attribution framework globally, as well as ensuring a consistent approach to communication, reporting and analytics.
  • Driving qualified traffic and conversions via Paid Search across Sage solutions and maximising media performance against product specific business KPIs.
  • Understanding and communicating external market environments and latest trends and innovations in search across all global markets.
  • Proactively driving and challenging the media agency, embedding a culture of continuous improvement aimed at consistent growth in core metrics and commercial output.
  • Analysing and interpreting raw data, weekly reports and monthly reports to monitor performance across Sage solution campaigns and identify areas for focus.
  • Picking up quickly and efficiently on negative trends on an ad hoc basis and issuing remedial measures to minimise commercial impact.
  • Being a role model for your peers and your colleagues. To bring to life the Sage Values in every aspect of your role.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have significant experience in hands-on paid search account management – either client side or agency side – preferably across multiple international markets.

 

Some key attributes we are looking for are:

  • Experience in UK & Ireland paid search, specifically around the management of stakeholders and the execution of a global strategy to deliver against target KPIs.
  • Previous experience in managing media agency relationships across multiple markets.
  • A proven ability executing and optimising global campaigns in a B2B environment.
  • Advanced understanding of the latest innovations in paid search, from keyword research to portfolio management to bid optimisation to retargeting.
  • An excellent communicator who can confidently build relationships with internal and external global stakeholders at every level.
  • Analytically minded, with the ability to analyse large scale, multi-country/product search campaigns from engagement through to conversion.
  • Commercially driven with the ability to understand nuances in the global business, delivering with agility and adaptability.
  • Ability to think strategically, and positively influence business direction.
  • BA/BSc degree or equivalent preferred.
