Located in Central Park, Leopardstown, Sage Ireland was established in 1999 and is the market leader for accounting and payroll software in Ireland with over 40,000 customers. With ambitious growth plans for FY18 this is a fantastic opportunity to join the newly transformed Sage Ireland team.

 

As a Business Development Representative you will be responsible for the development of new business and growing the Sage brand in Ireland

 

This is revenue generating and quota carrying position and you will be focusing on new and & existing business sectors along with supporting key partnerships and alliances in Ireland including Education and Accountants.

Responsibilities

You will develop extensive knowledge of our Sage products and services, and with it you’ll demonstrate a flair for selling and strengthening our customer relationships. You will add value to these relationships and make them your own. This will involve:

 

  • Following up on inbound leads from marketing and events;
  • Offering a consultative approach and identifying customers pain points and matching the right solution to their needs;
  • Working closely with various different teams throughout Sage Ireland;
  • Managing key partnerships;
  • Employing a cloud first methodology;
  • Maintaining a quality pipeline with an emphasis on scaling current opportunities;
  • Uncovering and progress new deals and nurturing existing opportunities.

Qualifications

If you’re a self-driven, confident solution-seller with a proven track record of over achieving, whilst inspiring customers with bespoke solutions, this one is for you. Meeting and exceeding KPIS will be a real motivator for you; you won’t let them limit you but you will see them as a driving force. You must have:

 

  • Experience of working in a similar position selling a portfolio of solutions;
  • Ability to be agile and move focus based on where the opportunities lie;
  • Experience if driving demand for partnerships;
  • Experience in a SAAS/FAAS market (desirable however not essential);
  • Knowledge of accounting or finance (desirable however not essential).
