The Sage CBC is a centre of excellence located in Central Park, Leopardstown, Dublin. It’s one of 2 worldwide Customer Business Centres and is focused on producing quality cloud solutions for the European market, with particular emphasis on SageLive, our cloud based accountancy software which is built on the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Engineer you’ll play a key role in Sage’s fast-paced Customer Business Centre. Working alongside our Account Executives, you’ll develop a pre-sales strategy to help demonstrate solutions that address the prospects pain points.

 

By presenting proof-of-value demonstrations to potential customers you’ll be a subject matter expert and your technical knowledge will assist the Account Executives in securing new business. You’ll be responsible for:

 

  • Working with Account Executives to secure new business;
  • Supporting Account Executives to produce high quality sales proposals and supporting materials.
  • Demonstrating SageLive solutions to “C” level executives, business owners, partners and accountants;
  • Providing functional and technical analysis of prospects needs, challenges and aspirations;
  • Managing and prioritising sales opportunities

Qualifications

By being in constant communication with our prospects, you’ll greet problems with solutions.

 

It’ll be an opportunity to be present throughout the sales process; from the discovery calls right through to demonstrations. The ideal candidate will have a background in a sales and be able to demonstrate

 

  • Experience of supporting SaaS, Cloud based or application solutions;
  • Strong presentation skills and customer facing acumen;
  • Sales knowledge;
  • Fluency in English plus Spanish;
  • An understanding of Salesforce,
