Overview

Sage is transforming its digital experiences to accelerate our transformation into a truly global, integrated and customer centric digital organisation.  Central to this is the reinvention of our web & mobile experiences on a single platform that hosts all digital interactions for all users across prospects, customers, partners, accountants, investors, colleagues and candidates.  This involves consolidating our different web experiences into one as well as hosting different parts of our customer solutions.  This new role will have responsibility to define the vision, strategy for the customer journey as well as the roadmap to deliver major elements of this experience and to collaborate with teams across the business who deliver solutions via Sage.com.

Responsibilities

  • To envision, define & communicate the vision & strategy for Sage.com for all constituent journeys.
  • To define the functional roadmap for the full visitor journey from offsite discoverability to the onsite journeys across the Web & Mobile experience, Products, Marketplaces, Communities, Ecommerce and Blog.
  • Collaborate with product teams across Sage to align roadmaps and integrate our Products as well as solutions like Communities, Support, Training, MarketPlaces, AppStores, Bots, Partner and Accountant programs.
  • To collaborate with other product managers & lead the definition of the customer journey across paid, owned and earned media.
  • To drive innovation of new capabilities in our web & mobile marketing platforms.
  • To navigate and collaborate effectively across the Product, IT, Business, Services and Marketing organisations to deliver a single integrated digital experience.
  • To work across marketing teams like SEO to ensure Sage.com is the highest performing platform for our organic and paid media investments.
  • Adopt rigor in all activity including use of tools, processes and methodologies such as JIRA, Agile

Qualifications

  • Conceptual and strategic thinking.
  • Design acumen, iterative designing and prototyping.
  • Product Roadmapping and roadmap management and tools.
  • Requirements management and tools
  • Degree and possibly Masters qualifications
  • Significant experience in a similar role
  • Significant experience in and knowledge of the b2b software industry
  • Strong grasp of product management in the software industry
  • Experience of agile/lean product management principles
