Overview

As part of the Product Management team at Sage you will take ownership and drive the roadmap across all of Sage's product portfolio for Identity Management, Security and Privacy features. You’ll have a strong track record within the software industry, being able to balance the competing needs of User Experience, technology and the business needs to achieve your goals.

 

Working as part of a global team of Product Managers you will be able to share ideas and collaborate on projects whilst working on innovative solutions for the UK’s largest and most successful software company.

 

Our products are in 24 countries around the world and our market share is still growing – as a Product Manager you’ll understand how important it is to maintain momentum ensuring we never cease to innovate and delight our customers.

You’ll be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders across the world – technical guru’s, marketing growth hackers, members of the executive team, media, analysts and of course the most important of all – our customers.

Responsibilities

Some of your key accountabilities will include:

  • Own and drive the roadmap for Sage ID and other Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms across all Sage products to enable customers to facilitate single sign-on (SSO), delivering best in class protection, with maximum ease of use supporting both traditional (screen based) and future (voice or chatbot) engagement mediums. Identity and authentication will need to support both Sage and ISV solutions via oAuth and other appropriate technologies
  • Support all Sage products to implement GDPR capabilities to ensure that Sage customers are easily able to meet their own obligations
  • Educate product colleagues about changes in compliance and best practice for privacy across all Sage products
  • Be the voice and the mission of identity, security and privacy inside and outside Sage, outside to include press, analysts, customers and partners/accountants, and conference/industry event communications

Qualifications

To take your application further we’re hoping to see some of these:

  • Strong IT security knowledge including experience with at least one IAM and one SSO platform
  • Understanding of GDPR and related legislation
  • Experience of cloud and on premise software
  • Experience of listening, probing and interpreting needs of various stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience of conceptual and strategic thinking
  • Objection handling
  • Customer/partner listening and engagement
  • Presenting and media interaction
  • Requirements management
  • Design, iteration, mock-ups
  • Multi-touch communication (From QA to analysts to the CEO to customers)
  • Hold a recognised security qualification for example CISSP, CISMP, CISM, CGEIT or CRISC

 

And it’d be even better if we saw these:

  • OAuth2.0, SAML and OpenID Connect experience
  • Experience of public speaking
  • Product management experience
  • Experience operating in a matrix management organisation
